Mat Hughey, Pet Care Specialist - Lover of all dogs large and small

Hi, my name is Mat Hughey. I was born and raised in El Cerrito, California which is a small town located in the East Bay foothills of the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up, our family dogs were a German Shepherd, a German Shorthaired Pointer, a Poodle, and two Dalmatians. My wife Abigail and I married in 2006, and moved to Colorado in 2009. Our "son" Winston is a Spinone Italiano, a rare breed in the United States, but more common in Europe. The breed has been a standard hunting dog in Italy for centuries. Having distinctive beard and eyebrows, they are known for being very mellow, calm, and kind.

I have a passion and love for all animals. I especially love dogs, raptors, mountain lions, and elk. My favorite dogs are the working and sporting breeds, and I have a soft spot for smaller dogs.

I really enjoy working with all types of dogs and cats. I am excited to join Lots of Luv’N Pet Care’s team!
