New Animal Massage Therapist, in Lyons Colorado
When Sharon and I started talking,I was very impressed with her love and commitment to animals. It's been extremely important,as the owner of Lots of Luv'N, to find people that believe in the same philosophies as I do when it comes to the treatment of animals. It has to be all about LUV with a holistic, humane and natural approach!
Thunder,(the poster child for this site)is part Siberian husky and loves to run and is very athletic. Thunder is more like a husky than any other breed. Thunder's time is his,and not necessarily yours.
After the initial consultation with Sharon obtaining all history and specific areas to be worked on,Thunder got a massage!I was really impressed with Sharon's kind and gentle touch. Sharon has the patience needed while waiting for Thunder to find his special place on his special massage blanket.As I watched, Thunder relaxed under Sharon’s gifted touch. The first session was about 10 minutes of actual hands on. Thunder will work up to a longer massage, however, it takes time for animals to realize they are getting a massage and its not petting. Thunder has been extremely relaxed and calm all day while I worked in the office. In just the 10 minutes he obviously got the effects of the massage. Both Thunder and I can’t wait for Sharon to come back again next week! I am looking forward to watching this process and to see the benifits that Thunder will gain from his massages!
It would be my recommendation as a Dog Trainer to go for a short walk to relax your pup prior to Sharon arriving to do her magic. Its good to have a special blanket,which will mean massage to your pup. This will help your pup know that its massage time and not petting or play time!

Not a big deal to travel anymore

Canine Massage -older dogs
I had the opportunity of asking Sharon Powell, CMT for some help with my dog Spufi. Spufi was diagnosed with some central nervous system degenerative condition. That problem is shown especially in the way my dog walks. Normally is hard for my dog to keep her balance with her rear legs.
This causes to overuse the front legs and upper body. By now it’s been around 4 years that she gets massages by Sharon. I can tell you how much the massage helps her with this condition. Normally after each massage she seems better for around a week.
I truly believe that my dog really enjoys her massages with Sharon. One of the things I admire from Sharon is the passion she shows for the animals. You can notice this through her session.
As a massage therapist myself, I can tell she has a special gift working with animals. I highly recommend Sharon for anyone who is looking for a massage therapist who specializes working with dogs, cats, horses, etc.
I'm sure that you will notice the benefits of animal massage quite soon if you allow Sharon to work with them.

No Worries anymore when traveling
Thanks for taking such good care of our kitties. Thanks for spending so much time with them and playing with them. They were pretty relaxed when we got home, so you succeeded in making feel secure. While Dave and I were in Florida we were commenting on the fact that we're so glad you were taking care of our cats! We didn't have to worry about them at all.

Thanks for the report on your visit - its like living vicariously through yours or guinness's eyes - I can visualize the whole walk. He is such a happy dog out on a walk - you can see how he adores being out there - especially in the snow! Its good to know he is getting out and walking and doing what he loves during the day!

Thanks for the report - it's funny as we have thought alot about getting a pal for Gracie - we know she does well with other dogs and think that would help because she really does love being with someone. So glad Betsy was here every day to spend time while we were gone - I know it makes such a big difference in Gracie's behavior - just like us, she hates to be ignored and gets lonely!

Education is the key
Kat has brought about extraordinary results with our yellow lab, and for that my wife and I are forever grateful. For most of her life, our dog has been moderately overweight. By shifting our dog over to Flint River and carefully educating us and monitoring the transition, our dog lost 20 lbs. and is in a normal, healthy weight range for the first time in years! All of our friends who see her can't believe how healthy and good she looks now.
Also, our dog has always enjoyed fetching, but rarely would release the ball back to us. We had Kat walk our dog a few times, and later found out she went an extra mile and did some release training with her because she noticed the same issue. Ever since that point, our dog is responding to a “release” command, which is something we’ve been unable to accomplish up to this point on our own. How Kat is able to get such quick results is quite unbelievable to us. We now highly recommend Kat’s services to everyone we know. Thanks Kat!

The techniques are working well for all the dogs. Walks are going very well. Dusty is really catching on, Sugar still spaces out sometimes and completely ignores me when I'm trying to get her attention, but she's getting better.

Jackson doing well...improvement
Hi Kat,
Thanks so much for your help Wednesday. Yesterday went quite well. Jackson was "under control" most of the time and we all seemed happier. Rad and Jackson worked well with the new long leash, we tethered him when people came over, I got him more focused on me with food, and we got some "high value treats" and raw bones for his entertainment.

What a positive way to keep your dog busy and happy!
I work out of my house and there are times that I need peace and quiet in the office. My dog Charlie, absolutely loves his squirrel when I want him to be busy. Its great stuffed with kibble and baby carrots (decreasing regular amounts of kibble in his bowl feedings) for times that I want him content and occupied. I particularly like the design that allows you to customize how much food comes out and how easily. Perfect for any dog! Thanks!

Kat-Leash for Dogs makes it easier for Stoli
The leash is great! Stoli loves the freedom, and I love the control. My other long leash, which is retractable, leash nearly took off my fingers when I had to reel Stoli in quickly one time. The Kat-Leash eliminates that problem because the rope is nice to handle. Thanks for checking in on us; your customer service is #1!
