Hi!  My name is Bridget Redd and I'm thrilled to join Kat and her crew.  A native of California, I moved to Pinewood Springs three and a half years ago.  My years working as a nanny in CA made a perfect lead into working with animals.

Being surrounded by my furry friends is very fulfilling.  It's hard to have a bad day when you're surrounded by dogs, cats, birds or any animal entrusted in Kat's care. 

This job is teaching me a lot about animal psychology and I also incorporate certain techniques that I learned as a nanny when training pets.  I love working with Lots of Luv 'N and hope to be a part of this team for a long time.

PLEASE make sure that your dogs always have their ID tags on.    This month alone, Kat has had 3 occurrences of lost dogs found locally.  Luckily Lots of Luv 'N has been able to find all of their owners, by tracking down the rabies numbers found on the vet tags.  The problem with just a rabies tags is that vets are closed on the weekend.  ID tags should always include pet's names and cell and home phone numbers.

On Super Bowl Sunday, Sam decided to jump his owner's fence and find his own Super Bowl Party!  Sam was found hanging out at Oscar Blues.  The Boulder Sheriff was notified to come and impound Sam.  Luckily, Kat was there to help the sheriff locate the owners.  After contacting current customers that live in the area to see if anyone recognized Sam, and driving around town with the Sheriff, still no luck! Sam was lost and didn't find the party he was looking for!  Sam ended up spending the night with Thunder and Charlie and Lots of Luv 'N to avoid the Boulder County Fines and Doggie Jail!  This is not always the case.  Lots of Luv 'N is currently trying to find a home for a 1 1/2 year old husky who jumped his fence in Kansas.  Sweet pup, very  well socialized and is MICROCHIPED but still no owner can be traced.

If jumping fences and wondering around town is a problem with your pup, Lots of Luv'N provides services in training and behavior modification to help.  Walks, BikerDog Runs  and Hikes are also a good way to prevent your pup from being bored and escaping.  Tired Pups are good pups!  Biker Dog Runs, Walks, and 1 hour hikes all provided by Lots of Luv 'N are a great solution for bored, lonely and high energy pups!

This is a special attachment that we have on Lots of Luv 'N mountain bike to safely run your dog on easy trails and parks within the town of Lyons.  For just $15.50 we can wear ROVER out more effectively then a simple walk in a 1/2 hour! 

Wahoo...love hiking but no time?  Lots of Luv 'N will hike for you with SPOT!  Taking advantage of the dog friendly trails in Pinewood, we will hike your pup for 1 hour with just your pup or with other well socialized dogs.  Need socialization skills developed with your dog that lives in single dog house hold?  This is a great option!!  Tired and content, your pup will be returned back to your home.

Kat and Bridget were out doing their normal, morning dog hike on a snow covered trail in Pinewood Springs.  The three dogs:  Hauns, Cheddar, and Ginny provided great training for Bridget's first week.  Kat and Bridget reached the end of the trail and turned around to hike the dogs back into Kat's Jeep.  Time for a head count, " Hauns, Cheddar, Ginny ­ c'mon guys" they both yelled.  Kat and Bridget knew that Cheddar, the stick lover, was lagging due to the gigantic stick in his mouth.  Suddenly, Kat and Bridget heard whimpering.  "Cheddar,  Cheddar", they yelled out to the orange Golden Retriever.  Now it was time for Kat and Bridget to the rescue!  " Hauns, go find Cheddar"  they commanded!  Hauns went running back up the trail and stopped near a snow filled hole.  He had found Cheddar, engulfed in snow with the huge stick in his mouth ­ unwilling to release it he could not climb out of the slippery snow hole.  "SuperKat" followed Cheddar into the hole.  Still unwilling to release his stick ( the cause of this predicament) Kat and Bridget had to push Cheddar, who is approximately 80 pounds, out of the deep, steep hole. 

Cheddar was almost out until Hauns and Ginny decided to "help".  Hauns and Ginny tumbled into the hole ­ knocking Kat on her booty and covering her in snow.  Kat and Bridget, now hysterical with laughter, had to get three dogs out of the snow hole, which they did ­ successfully.  Now all are safe and it's back down the trail again.  Oh yeah, Cheddar still had his stick.

 That's just one little hour in a six and a half hour hiking day in the action packed world of Lots of Luv 'N Pet Care.

Excellent feed back on Christmas DVD's for 2006 and before... Lots of Luv 'N tried something new this year and had a DVD produced by Mountain Goddess Productions (303-823-0769).  It was a huge success with our customers and furry friends.  Lots of Luv 'N will be doing this every year with the previous years photo's.  Did you miss getting one?  Give us a call in the office and we would be happy to send out a dvd to you.  It's a great way to have memories of your animals on DVD!

Puppies, 12 week old full bred Rat Terriers.  Puppies have been socializing with other dogs, comfortable with children.  Currently in the beginning process of house training.  3 males one female left.  2 males are black & white, one black white & brown, female black & white.  Have not had tails cut, have had first shot & checkup.  Asking $250, profit not a concern, giving them a good home is.

Kitty needs a good home

She is probably 7 months old.  We inherited her from someone who moved and couldn't take her and due to allergies we are trying to find a home for her.   She is used to being inside but uses our dog door and goes outside during the day. As you can see, she gets along with dogs who like her (even dogs who chase her)  I don't know if she's had any of her shots - I kind of doubt it. Anyway, she is sweet and affectionate and a pretty kitty!
